Growing up in the close-knit community of Gilman and graduating from Gilman High School in 1988, he discovered a passion for intricate world-building early in life. It was during his senior year as a Gilman Pirate that he penned the foundational poem, The Darkened Light of Joshua Clay. This creative spark would quietly anchor his imagination for years before evolving into an expansive, multi-book fantasy universe exploring faith, consequence, and redemption.
